Life lessons from the Southland of the past gives one man a unique perspective for the future.
Sarath Nathan grew up in the latter part of the 20th century glued to the T.V. and radio as the Cold war was ending, and into the computer boom of the 21st century. He was uniquely or accidentally exposed to computers and video games at age four. He spent most of his non-school time working on the computer, video games, and trying to master film photography. A young Sarath was heavily influenced by the personal lives of Larry Ellison and Steve Jobs. Microsoft had an influence on Sarath as well. Sarath worked on both P.C. & Macintosh (Apple for younger readers) platforms.
At that time in history most adults thought this was a waste of time and efforts; Sarath had a gut feeling if he mastered technology in multiple disciplines that may be, one day, it would pay off. And so the crusade began.
Computers:
He was teaching himself computer programing early on using the Teach Yourself Series of books. By age twelve, Sarath could take a P.C. apart and put it back together again, as well as building websites.
He was working towards his Microsoft Certification but the only issue was a child could not sit for the exam. Sarath did not let that stop him, he also knew “This computer thing” was going to be big one day. By age twelve he had access to computer labs at a local college where the computers were networked. He was also experimenting with recording software on his personal P.C.
Photography:
Sarath was also building a photography portfolio, he started using film cameras at the age of four. But seriously started building the portfolio at age twelve; later adopting the digital medium when it became affordable and of quality standards.
Trade School & Radio Communications:
Sarath networked his way into a radio broadcasting trade school program; way back when teachers and adults laughed and mocked the trades. Later, at the age of sixteen Sarath was mentored by Bob Summers (A.K.A John Valentine) of Q94 at his personal studio Audio Image, as well as the Lee Brothers. He interned at various radio stations. Before the age of 18, his voice had been featured on several local radio stations. He also learned to take apart and repair smart phones and laptops.
He took various sales jobs selling wireless internet at its early stage, as well as Chiropractic services. Both on the sales room floor as well as popularly attended tradeshows; one on one selling to total strangers every day.
At some point he worked a few labor jobs such as in tree removal services and as a factory worker to make ends meet.
He would also provide tech services to private individuals at their homes.

The Law Industry:
Various prominent attorneys in the law industry discovered Sarath's talents as a technologist and brought him into the law industry. Sarath sits with them at the defense table and helps them with their cases from when the client calls all the way to the verdict, as well as post-trial hearings.
Political win and Gubernatorial Appointment by Governor
Glen Youngkin:
Sarath helped his local Circuit Court clerk, Heidi Barshinger, win her reelection with his technical skills, political connections, street smarts, and political savvy.
She was the only Republican to win all of her county.
(*Outside of the one candidate who had two counties to win.)
(Heidi's victory was an eight year term.)
Sarath received the call from the governor's office to serve on the VA Board of Humanities.
Palantir:
Sarath also holds two certificates with the mysterious Palantir company in addition to his certificate from the radio broadcasting trade school. He is heavily influenced by Dr. Alex Karp.
