A humble message: If you don't say anything about your background, people don't care. If you say anything about your background people think you are full of yourself. You can't please everyone, nor can you be timid of your credentials when challenged. The following examples are because various people have asked what I have photographed.

Sarath is one of the few non military, non law enforcement, civilians who have been in all of these situations.

Sarath has been a part of major United States history and music culture. He has an accidental 30-year background in the photography industry. Some of his consulting work takes him into photography work. But he also uses his camera to document the history of America.

The actual site of the bridge collapse is the basis of the 1975 book by John Keel, The Mothman Prophecies. Later becoming a movie in 2002, starring Richard Gere & Debra Messing; directed by Mark Pellington.
